Hello, World!
Introducing Tailflare and what we're building toward.
Today, I’m excited to introduce Tailflare.
Tailflare is a new team building infrastructure for the next generation of virtual creators. From animation and motion processing to avatar technology and virtual production, our goal is to create the tools and systems that allow people to express themselves on the virtual stage.
The virtual creator ecosystem has never been more vibrant. VTubers, virtual performers, social VR communities, avatar creators, and real-time content creators are building entirely new forms of expression and entertainment. Yet many of the technologies that power these experiences remain fragmented, difficult to integrate, and tied to closed ecosystems.
At Tailflare, we believe there is a better way. We believe the future of virtual creation is open and interoperable.
Creators shouldn’t be limited by closed formats or engine-specific pipelines. The technologies behind virtual creation should work together, allowing creators to focus on creation rather than technical barriers.
Our mission is simple: to help creators bridge the gap between who they are and who they want to be.
Whether someone is stepping onto a virtual stage for the first time, building tools for the creator community, or pushing the boundaries of what real-time digital experiences can be, we want to make those possibilities more accessible.
Much of what we’re building is still in development. Over the coming months, we’ll begin sharing the building blocks of our technology with the broader community. Some projects will be small and focused. Others will form the foundations of larger systems. All of them will reflect our belief in openness and a commitment to empowering creators.
Here on the devlog we’ll share technical deep-dives and lessons learned along the way. We’ll talk about the challenges we’re solving and the reasoning behind the tools we build.
We’re just getting started, and there’s a lot more to come.
Thanks for following along.
